Define your employer value proposition (EVP): The EVP is a statement that summarizes the unique benefits and opportunities that your company offers to its employees. It should align with your company's culture, vision, and mission, and be communicated consistently across all channels. I would work with the leadership team and HR to define the EVP and ensure it resonates with current and potential employees.

1. Conduct a brand audit: I would conduct a comprehensive audit of your current employer brand, including its reputation, perception, and communication channels. This would involve analyzing the company's website, social media presence, job postings, employee testimonials, and feedback from current and former employees. The audit would help identify areas for improvement and inform the development of a new employer brand strategy.

2. Develop a brand strategy: Based on the insights from the EVP and brand audit, I would develop a comprehensive brand strategy that includes messaging, tone of voice, visual identity, and brand guidelines. The strategy should be aligned with the company's overall marketing and business objectives and be integrated across all communication channels.

3. Create a content strategy: To attract top talent, it's essential to create compelling content that showcases the company's culture, values, and achievements. I would develop a content strategy that includes a mix of formats, such as blog posts, videos, social media posts, and podcasts, that resonate with the target audience. The content should be authentic, engaging, and shareable, and showcase the employee experience.

4. Build a social media presence: Social media is a powerful tool for building an employer brand and engaging with potential candidates. I would develop a social media strategy that aligns with the brand strategy and content strategy and includes regular posting, engagement, and monitoring of feedback.

5. Engage with employees: The best brand ambassadors for any company are its employees. I would work with the HR team to develop employee engagement programs that encourage advocacy and sharing of positive experiences. This could include employee referrals, recognition programs, and internal communication channels.

6. Measure and refine: Finally, I would establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the employer brand strategy and regularly review and refine the approach based on the results. This could include metrics such as candidate quality, time-to-hire, employee retention, and brand awareness.

By following these steps, I am confident that we can build a successful employer brand that attracts and retains top talent and hires 170 people in 2 years.
